Hi, I’m Yamini — the lead photographer behind Yamini Dalal Photography. I specialize in weddings and portrait photography, with a love for capturing the real, emotional, and unforgettable moments that make your story one of a kind.


My journey began about four years ago, when I first picked up a camera to photograph sports for my high school yearbook. That simple start sparked a lifelong love for storytelling through images — a passion that only grew as I continued my work as a student photographer at Quinnipiac University, where I explored everything from campus life to live events and portraits.


Today, my heart lives in capturing love and connection — the quiet in-between glances, the laughter that fills a room, and the emotions that can’t be staged. Whether it’s an intimate wedding, an engagement session, or a family portrait, I approach every moment with intention, creativity, and care.


My goal is to create images that feel timeless, honest, and full of life — photographs that let you relive the feeling every time you look back.

My approach is rooted in connection and intention. Before every session or wedding, I take time to get to know you — your story, your energy, and what moments truly matter. I want you to feel comfortable, seen, and free to be yourself, because the most meaningful images come from genuine emotion, not stiff poses or forced smiles. Every couple and family I work with has their own rhythm, and I love capturing that in a way that feels effortless and true.


I believe the best photographs come from presence — from allowing space for real laughter, quiet moments, and everything in between. I’ll guide you when needed, but my focus is always on creating an experience that feels easy and natural. My goal is for you to walk away not only with timeless images, but with memories that remind you exactly how it felt to be there, surrounded by love and joy.
